Champions 2024 Collection

The Champions 2024 Collection is a collection of cosmetics in VALORANT. Its contents were available for a limited time on initial release from multiple sources, including the Champions 2024 bundle, Pick 'Ems, broadcast drops, and event pass[1].

Collection Bundle[]

From August 1st - 29th, 2024, 50% of net proceeds from the Champions 2024 Bundle will go to participating teams. By August 20th, 2024, the collection combined with VCT Team Capsules had raised over $35 million USD[2]; by the end of both collections, on September 12th, 2024, $44.3 million USD[3] was raised. The items are unable to appear in the Featured Store's daily offers.

Notes:
  1. ↑ 1.0 1.1 If the player has fully upgraded both Champions 2024 Phantom and Champions 2024 Blade equipped in their Collection simultaneously, the end of the Blade's Champions 2024 Buddy will instead be equipped with the buddy used from their Champions 2024 Phantom throughout the match. The player does not necessarily require the Phantom on their current loadout for the Blade's buddy to appear, and swapping Phantom weapon skins will not affect the current buddy used on the Blade.
  • Each weapon skin requires Radianite Points 10 per upgrade level. For other applicable models of each weapon skin, see the Appearance section.

Level Upgrade Effects Preview
2 Inspect & Kill Effects

Despite the level stating kill effects, there are no kill effects when killing an enemy. This effect is present at Level 4 instead.

3 Finisher
  • New kill banner, last kill finisher effects and kill audio
    • Finisher:
      • All victims who were killed with the Phantom are showcased floating around covered in gold. The asteroids formed around the finisher can be shot at.
      • An instrumental of Superpower can be heard:   
      • The finisher can also be augmented by walking onto the victim and pressing inspect, showing the player in third person view reaching for the trophy. Only the player who killed the last victim can reach for the trophy.
4 Champion's Aura
  • New model visual effects
    • Additional lighting
    • Depending on certain actions:
      • If the player is currently match MVP in the game, the gun will also receive a purple-gold outline
      • For every three kills the player has on the scoreboard, parts of the logo will glow, completing its effects at 24 kills
      • If the player has 24 kills on the scoreboard, the model of the gun becomes cracked and golden.
  • New visual effects and sound effects for equip and reload
  • New visual effects for gunfire and kill
    • Gunfire: Inner parts rotate faster when firing
    • Kill: On kill, the logo and the model on the skin will glow
  • New inspect visual effects
    • Logo flashes and beats to the music

Pick 'Ems[]

The following cosmetics can be earned by participating in Champions Seoul Pick 'Ems 2024. Depending on the picks by the players, they will then be rewarded with the necessary cosmetics should they hit the target required.

Trivia[]

  • The Champions 2024 Collection is the only collection:
    • To allow the Melee to equip a buddy albeit shared with the Champions 2024 Phantom when equipped together.
    • To have an event pass to not be named after "Champions" as opposed to 2022 and 2023.
    • Where the finisher can be viewed in third person view.
  • Prior to v9.04, the Champions 2024 Card in the Banner version shared the same image as the Time's Up Card. This was fixed later for Time's Up Card.
