Crosscut is a Mobility ability that Veto must equip before casting. While equipped, his crosshair will be replaced with an indicator to place a vortex on horizontal terrain. This will turn blue if it is placed on a viable position to be cast in, and will turn red for unviable positions. Upon casting, the vortex will briefly deploy at the location where it will remain indefinitely and stay visible to all agents. Enemies can deal damage to the vortex and destroy it though Veto and his team will be alerted if the vortex is destroyed.
In order to teleport, Veto must be anywhere within the vortex's vertical cylinder area-of-effect and must be looking towards the vortex's position. Upon activating the ability, Veto will channel briefly before teleporting to the vortex, giving off an audio cue at both his previous and current location that can be heard by all players.
