The Ruination Collection is a collection of cosmetics in VALORANT. Its contents were initially available to be obtained when the collection was first released as a bundle in the Store. After this, only its weapon skins can be obtained whenever they become available in a player's daily Featured Store Offers.

Trivia

• The collection is part of Riot Games' Sentinels of Light event, based around the story of Viego's return to Runeterra and the Sentinels of Light who fight against him.
• The melee is VALORANT's version of Viego's blade, the Blade of the Ruined King, a League of Legends item that has been in the game since Season 2. VALORANT's version is not a canon representation, but designed to fit with the gameplay and designs of melee skins.
• All upgrade SFX pull audio from League of Legends champions who play a part in the Sentinels of Light event:
  • Ghost: Gwen- A former doll made by Isolde, Viego's wife, who was brought to life and made human when a piece of Isolde's fractured soul found and entered the doll which had been lying at the bottom of an ocean. Gwen travels Runeterra to stop the Black Mist.
  • Spectre: Karma- The spiritual leader of Ionia and the living embodiment of the Spirit of Ionia. After she was initially able to repel the first Ruination of Ionia, she eventually fell when Viego himself led an assault on Ionia. She then became Ruined, causing her to be possessed and controlled by Viego.
  • Guardian: Shyvana- A Demacian dragonguard from the faction's border settlements. She fell when Viego's forces reached Demacia, becoming Ruined and forced to join the ranks of the Black Mist as they pushed further into Demacian territory.
  • Phantom: Viego- The Ruined King, former king of Camavor and source of the Black Mist. Centuries ago, Viego caused the first Ruination of the Blessed Isles when he attempted to revive Isolde, who had been killed as a result of an attempted assassination on Viego. Now a wraith, he has discovered that Isolde's soul is in pieces that are infused inside several objects scattered across Runeterra and, with help from Vex to allow the mist to spread all over the world, seeks to claim all that remains of his queen, whatever the cost.
  • Broken Blade of the Ruined King: Draven- A gladiator, entertainer, and executioner from Noxus. When Viego arrived in Noxus, Draven challenged him to a duel but immediately lost. Now Ruined, despite how Viego forcibly possesses and takes control of his usual hosts, little of Draven's personality appears to have changed.
