The Guardian is a Rifle that is a primary weapon in VALORANT.
Summary[]
| “ | The designated marksman rifle. Heavier and less mobile relative to other rifles but precise and powerful. Headhunt when enemies appear at medium to long distances.
|
” |
The Guardian is a moderately-priced semi-automatic rifle. It is highly effective in long-range fights in the hands of players who are confident in their ability to hit headshots at such distances, being more accurate than a Vandal. The Guardian's high penetration makes it solid for wallbanging, often being a one-tap headshot. However, its lower firerate and magazine capacity compared to the Vandal or Phantom makes the gun less viable for breaking enemy utility, or spraying down opponents on close range.
