Trivia[]

  • If Yoru's chosen melee skin is the Onimaru Kunitsuna, during the equip action for his ultimate, Dimensional Drift, the mask Yoru prepares to take out of the rift will be an Oni mask instead of his own mask.
  • Prior to the release of EP 6's Oni Collection, EP 1's names of the variants Kumo, Hana and Tsubame were Black, Green and White respectively.
  • The Oni EP 6 Onimaru Kunitsuna is the only Premium Premium-Edition melee to cost Valorant Points 5,350 instead of the standard Valorant Points 3,550.

Development[]

  • The Oni EP 6 Onimaru Kunitsuna slashing SFX is voiced by the sound designer, Drew Olsen.[1]
  • Initially for Oni EP 6 bundle, Sheriff was supposedly part of the bundle, but the devs did not feel appropriate to release it due to the pulling of the nose of the Oni mask from the equip animation, and was eventually replaced with the Frenzy.[2]
