The Beta Reaver Collection was a set of weapon skins in VALORANT during its Closed Beta.

The collection was removed from all accounts upon VALORANT's live release, but the Reaver theme was eventually re-released with updated models and variants for all the gun skins.

The upgrades were the same as the upgrades applied to current collection, except for the "Fire Variant" which essentially turned into one of the weapon variants.

Trivia[]

  • Reaver was one of the first collections to be developed at the time when it wasn't exactly known what skins in VALORANT would be like.[1]
    • This beta collection was intended to be a prototype and experiment to help the developers understand what did and didn't work in skins and initially there were no plans for it to return to the game after launch. However, feedback and requests for the skinline to return convinced the developers to create a new Reaver bundle up to the quality level of post-launch skin collections, which arrived in 1.11.
  • Reaver's initial name was going to be "Omen", but priority for the name was given to the agent instead.[2]
