— In-game description

Ruse is a signature ability for Clove.
Description[]
Ruse is a Vision Blocker ability that Clove must equip before casting. Upon equipping, a view of the map they are on will appear. The map is centered on Clove's location and will adjust as they move but it has a maximum radius and will not display the entire map. Clove can select a location to place a circular marker, showing where a cloud will land and how much of an area it will cover at most.
Once Clove confirms the locations of the clouds, they will begin to deploy for a short amount of time. During this time, all players will see a visual indicator of the position the cloud will land in and hear an audio cue. Afterwards, a cloud will rapidly expand from the ground at the indicator. Vision within the cloud is clear. The cloud will play audio and visual cues shortly before it is about to expire. Once it expires, the cloud will instantly dissipate.
Clove can continue to use this ability after they die, with a smaller radius on the view of the map centered at their corpse. Clouds cast during this time will have darker colors instead.
