Skirmish is a best-of-nineteen duel game mode in VALORANT available only in custom games.
Summary[]
Skirmish is by default a best-of-nineteen duel mode. The team that kills all of the opposing team players wins the round. All players are always equipped with Heavy Armor upon spawn (even after subsequent rounds), and their credits are set to infinite.
During the first round, buy phase is set to 15 seconds. Subsequent buy phase rounds are only 3 seconds. Match time is set to infinite and will only conclude when a team is defeated. Players cannot drop their weapons anytime in the match.
Due to the fact that Skirmish is only available via custom games, no XP will be awarded and missions will not progress. By default, the usage of abilities is disabled, but it can be enabled via Cheats in match menu.

Skirmish is played on maps created specifically for the mode. There is only one map, but with three variations of the obstacle placement.
