A Sustain tool is a type of ability that allows agents to replenish their health after taking damage.

Summary

A sustain ability is used to 'undo' or counteract any damage that has been dealt to them. This includes anything from small chip damage to resisting lethal damage that would otherwise result in the player's death.

Heal

A heal is a sustain tool that restores an agent's health. It cannot restore any shields, though some allow you to overheal so that you can reach 150 effective health even if the player's health was already at 100 before the heal.

Ally heals

Ally heals can be used on any of the casting agent's allies. The ability may or may not include the possibility for the caster to heal themselves.

EQUIP a healing orb. FIRE with your crosshairs over a damaged ally to activate a heal-over-time on them. ALT FIRE while Sage is damaged to activate a self heal-over-time.

Self-heals

Self-heals only affect the agent who cast them.

Revive

A revive is a sustain tool that allows the player to resist or come back from taking lethal damage that would otherwise result in their death.

INSTANTLY overload with polarized radianite energy that pulses from KAY/O in a massive radius. Enemies hit with pulses are suppressed for a short duration. While overloaded, KAY/O gains combat stim and can be re-stabilized if downed.

EQUIP a resurrection ability. FIRE with your crosshairs placed over a dead ally to begin resurrecting them. After a brief channel, the ally will be brought back to life with full health.
