Tailwind is a signature ability for Jett.
Description[]
Tailwind is a Mobility ability that Jett can instantly activate to consume Tailwind's ability charge and prepare a gust of wind. After a brief delay, Jett becomes empowered for a limited time, gaining the ability to dash on reactivation during this time. Whilst empowered by the wind, Jett's screen will receive wispy outlines. For all other players, they will see Jett with gusts of wind around her legs and brighter hair.
Upon recasting whilst empowered, Jett will dash a fixed distance in the direction she is moving. If Jett is standing still, she will dash forward. Tailwind can be used whilst Jett is in the air.

- Fixed a bug where switching weapons in the middle of the dash would cause the weapon pull out animation to take longer
- Fixed a bug where Jett could equip a weapon during the dash
- Fixed a bug where using Tailwind in specific locations could let Jett reach very faster than intended speeds (aka. “superdash”)
- Fixed a bug where Tailwind would sometimes fail to cast when used immediately after curving Cloudburst
- NEW EFFECT: On first cast, Jett consumes her Tailwind charge and after a .75 second delay, activates a 12-second window where she’s able to dash on next key press
- Charge can still be regained with 2 kills
- These changes also apply to Big Knife rounds in Escalation
- Fixed a bug where Jett could find herself unable to use abilities or weapons when using Tailwind immediately after depleting Blade Storm's daggers
- Weapon equip time after casting increased
- Reverted in a hotfix
- Can no longer trigger the defuse sound while dashing
- Can no longer use on ropes or ziplines
- Fixed an issue with Jett's Tailwind
